How to make a QR code for a Google Form
Google Forms has no QR code button of its own, so the QR code stores the form’s share link.
- Open the form in Google Forms and select Send at the top right.
- Choose the link tab, tick Shorten URL if you want a lighter code, and select Copy. Use this responder link, not the edit link in your browser’s address bar.
- Paste the link into the Content field above and check the preview.
- Pick colors or add a logo under Style, then download PNG, JPG, or SVG from Preview · Download.
- Scan the code with a phone before printing. If the form only accepts responses from your organization, people outside it will be asked to sign in.
How to make a QR code for a YouTube video or channel
The YouTube app can show a QR code for your own channel. For a specific video or playlist, or a code with your colors and logo, use the share link.
- Open the video or playlist and select Share, then Copy. Video links start with https://youtu.be/.
- For a channel, open the channel page and copy its address, for example https://www.youtube.com/@yourchannel.
- Paste the link into the Content field above and check the preview.
- Download the code and scan it once. It should open the video in the YouTube app or the browser.
- Private videos will not play for people who scan. Set the video to Public or Unlisted first.
How to make a QR code for a Facebook page
A Facebook Page QR code stores the Page’s web address, so anyone can open it with a phone camera.
- Open your Page in a web browser and copy the address from the address bar, for example https://www.facebook.com/yourpage.
- Paste it into the Content field above.
- Add your brand colors or logo under Style, and keep strong contrast between the code and its background.
- Download PNG for screens or SVG for print, then test the scan on a phone before you print it on flyers, cards, or window signs.
How to make a QR code for Google reviews
Google Business Profile can already give you a review link and a basic QR code. Use ZapQR when you want your own colors, a logo, or an SVG file for print.
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile and search for your business name on Google.
- In your profile, select Ask for reviews or Get more reviews, then copy the review link.
- Paste the link into the Content field above and download PNG, JPG, or SVG.
- Scan the code to confirm it opens the review form for your business.
- Place it where customers finish their visit, such as receipts, table cards, or the checkout counter, with a short line like “Scan to leave a review”.

URL QR Code FAQ
How do I turn a URL into a QR code?
Paste a full http or https link into the URL field, review the generated preview, customize the style if needed, and download the QR code.
Can I make a QR code for a menu, form, or social profile?
Yes. Any public URL can be encoded, including digital menus, signup forms, booking pages, social profiles, product pages, and event links.
Is this URL QR code static or dynamic?
The URL generator creates a static QR code. The final link is encoded directly in the image, so use Dynamic QR only when you need to edit the destination after printing.
Do I need an account to create a URL QR code?
No. Static URL QR code generation works without registration. Accounts are only needed for the Dynamic QR product layer.
Can I customize the URL QR code before downloading?
Yes. You can adjust QR appearance options such as colors, logo, size, and error correction before downloading the image.
Which download format should I use for printing?
SVG is usually best for print because it scales cleanly. PNG is a practical choice for digital use, documents, and quick sharing.
Will my URL QR code expire?
A static URL QR code does not expire by itself. It continues to work as long as the destination URL remains active and reachable.
Can I track scans with a static URL QR code?
No. Static QR codes do not provide ZapQR scan tracking. Use Dynamic QR when you need editable destinations and tracked scans.
