  • Up to 1,000 QR codes per batch
  • No signup required
  • CSV, Excel, TXT, and manual input
  • Download PNG, JPG, or SVG in a ZIP

Input methods

How to generate batch QR codes

Use the generator above when you already have a list of URLs, labels, text snippets, or identifiers that each need their own QR code.

  1. Paste or upload your list

Use Manual Input for one item per line, or upload a CSV, Excel, or TXT file. Blank rows are ignored.

  2. Choose image format

Before starting the batch, choose PNG, JPG, or SVG and apply shared settings such as size, colors, margin, logo, and supported shapes.

  3. Generate one QR per item

ZapQR reads each non-empty value in order and creates a separate static QR code for each item.

  4. Download the ZIP

When generation finishes, your browser downloads a ZIP package containing the QR image files.

How to make QR codes from Excel

Turn a spreadsheet column into one QR code per cell. The workbook is read in your browser, so it does not need to be uploaded to a ZapQR server.

  1. Put one URL, SKU, or text value in each cell of the first worksheet. A single column starting at A1 keeps the output order easy to follow.
  2. Delete header rows and notes columns before saving. Every non-empty cell becomes a QR code, headers included.
  3. Save the file as .xlsx or .xls. If the list lives in Google Sheets, use File > Download > Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) or Comma Separated Values (.csv).
  4. Open the Upload File tab in the batch tool above and select the file. ZapQR reads the first worksheet row by row, skips empty cells, and accepts up to 1,000 values per batch.
  5. Choose PNG, JPG, or SVG plus the shared size, colors, and logo, then select Start Generation.
  6. Download the ZIP. Images are numbered qr-001, qr-002, and so on, and index.csv maps each file back to its cell value for label or mail-merge layouts.

Generate multiple QR codes from a list

No spreadsheet needed. Paste the list straight into the tool and get one QR code per line.

  1. Copy your URLs or text values, one per line. Copying a single column from Excel or Google Sheets already gives one value per line.
  2. Open the Manual Input tab and paste them in. Empty lines are skipped. Duplicate lines are kept, so each one becomes its own QR code.
  3. Check the item count in the preview, choose the output format, and select Start Generation.
  4. Download the ZIP and open index.csv to confirm that every image matches its line.

Supported input formats

The safest batch file layout is one QR content value per row. That keeps the output order predictable and makes file naming easy to match back to your source list.

CSV

Use a simple .csv file when your source list comes from a spreadsheet or database export. A single content column is easiest to audit.

Excel

Upload .xlsx or .xls files from the first sheet. Keep one URL, SKU, label, or text value per row or non-empty cell.

TXT or pasted lines

Use .txt or Manual Input for quick lists. Put one URL or text item on each line; empty lines are skipped.

Example input

These five lines would create five separate QR codes, in the same order as the list.

Common batch QR code use cases

Batch QR generation is useful when many printed or digital items need unique codes but the content does not need to be edited later.

Event badges

Create QR codes for attendee check-in links, session pages, or exhibitor profiles.

If event pages may change after printing badges, use the Dynamic QR Code Generator so the printed QR keeps working while the destination can be edited later.

Inventory labels

Turn SKU, asset, warehouse, or maintenance URLs into printable label QR codes.

Use the URL QR Code Generator for one fixed asset link.

Use the Dynamic QR Code Generator if the asset page may need to change after labels are printed.

Classroom materials

Generate QR codes for lesson links, handouts, reading lists, or student activity stations.

Use the URL QR Code Generator for a single lesson link or the Text QR Code Generator for short offline instructions.

Product labels

Create QR codes for manuals, warranty pages, product detail pages, or batch-specific information.

Use the Dynamic QR Code Generator when the warranty page, manual URL, or product campaign may change after packaging is printed.

Restaurant table QR codes

Create table-specific menu, order, or feedback QR codes without generating each one manually.

Use the Dynamic QR Code Generator for menus or feedback forms that may change after table cards are printed.

Static batch QR or Dynamic QR?

Batch QR creates static codes. Dynamic QR is the better fit when a printed code must keep working while its destination changes later.

How this relates to the main QR generator

Use this batch generator when you need many static QR codes at once. Use the main QR code generator for one-off QR codes with custom content and styling. Use Dynamic QR only when you need editable destinations or scan tracking after printing.

Batch QR code FAQ

How many QR codes can I generate for free?

You can generate up to 1,000 static QR codes per batch without signing up. Each non-empty pasted line or parsed file item becomes one QR code.

Can I generate QR codes from CSV or Excel?

Yes. Upload CSV, XLSX, XLS, or TXT files. For the clearest output, keep one QR content value per row or per non-empty cell.

Does batch generation download a ZIP file?

Yes. The generated images are packaged in a ZIP file with an images/ folder, numbered filenames such as qr-001.png, and index CSV/TXT/HTML files.

Do I need an account to download the ZIP?

No. Static batch QR generation and ZIP download work without signup. Dynamic QR management is the account-based product layer.

Is my batch content uploaded to ZapQR?

The static batch generator parses the selected file in your browser for QR creation and does not require uploading the file to a ZapQR batch-processing service.

When should I use Dynamic QR instead?

Use Dynamic QR when the destination may need to change after printing or when you need scan tracking. Use batch static QR when each code can permanently encode its final content.

Can I customize every QR code in the batch?

Yes. Choose the output size, colors, error correction, margin, center logo, and supported shape options before generating. ZapQR applies the selected design to every QR image in that batch.
